Bad Timing: A Columbarium of Distress and Love

In 2015, efforts were made to save one of the finest examples of Googie architecture in this country. People's Bank, built in 1962, was ultimately razed to accommodate a movie theater parking lot, but not before Stuart Horodner, director of the Univ. of KY Art Museum, organized a pop up exhibit inviting artists to respond to the dilapidated state of the building.
